HISTORY

Our Inaugural Firecracker 5K and Kids Dash was born of a desire to help local schools fund important programs, as well as provide a fantastic local race experience in the beautiful down town Pleasant Hill area.  All race profits were donated to K-12 area schools in 2005, beginning a tradition that we hope will go on for many years to come. 

LOCATION & TIME

When:     July 4th at 8AM.

Where:    Along the parade route in beautiful downtown Pleasant Hill.  Participants meet in front of Fleet Feet Sports at 45 Crescent Drive.

HOW TO REGISTER

Registration will be available soon online at www.phjuly4.com or by application available at Fleet Feet Sports.

Number pickup and same day registration on July 4th opens at 7AM in front of Fleet Feet.

COURSE DESCRIPTION

The 5k is a fast flat course consisting of 3 loops around the 4th of July parade route beginning in front of Fleet Feet Sports on Crescent Drive.  The kids’ dash is a "just for fun "100 yard sprint for ages 7 and under.
